What It Is

Flake floors installed in a single day.

Flake floors are the most popular decorative floor we install in [[CITY]] — and for good reason. The system is a three-layer build that goes over your existing concrete: a high-build epoxy primer, a full broadcast of decorative vinyl flake (chips), and a tough polyaspartic clear topcoat that locks everything in. Total finished thickness is around 1/8 inch, which is significantly thicker and more durable than any DIY garage kit on the market.

What makes a flake floor great isn't just how it looks — it's how it lives. The chip texture is naturally slip-resistant, hides minor cracks and discoloration in older slabs, and shrugs off hot tires, motor oil, brake fluid, and household chemicals. Most residential garages are completed in a single day; you can walk on the new floor within a few hours and park on it within 24.

We offer hundreds of flake color blends — subtle gray-and-black neutrals, warm tans and browns, bold reds and blues — and we bring physical sample boards to your free estimate so you see the actual finish in your space, not just a swatch on a screen.

Ideal for: garages, basements, patios, workshops, laundry rooms & pet areas.

Why It Works

The benefits in plain terms.

No jargon — just what makes this system worth the money.

Single-Day Install

Walk on it in hours, drive on it the next day. Most 2-car garages turn around in 8–10 hours.

Hundreds of Color Blends

Subtle neutrals to bold custom blends — with physical sample boards on-site at your estimate.

Slip-Resistant Texture

The full flake broadcast gives the floor natural traction, even when wet.

Hot Tire & Oil Resistant

Polyaspartic topcoat handles hot tire pickup, motor oil, brake fluid, and most automotive chemicals.

Hides Old Concrete

Full broadcast covers minor cracks, patches, and discoloration in older slabs.

Written Warranty

Backed by a written warranty on materials and labor — we install what we stand behind.

Our Process

How we install your flake floors.

01

Grind & Profile

Diamond-grind the slab to open the concrete pores so primer bonds chemically, not just mechanically.

02

Crack Repair & Primer

Repair cracks and spalling with epoxy patch, then roll the high-build epoxy primer.

03

Full Flake Broadcast

Broadcast vinyl flake to refusal until the floor is completely covered. Scrape and vacuum the next morning.

04

Polyaspartic Topcoat

Apply the protective polyaspartic clear topcoat for traction, gloss, and long-term chemical resistance.

Pricing

What goes into the number.

Every space is different — these are the main things that move pricing up or down. We don't quote averages; we quote your floor.

01

Square Footage

The single biggest factor. Larger garages get better per-foot economics, but every job has a minimum mobilization cost.

02

Surface Prep

Diamond grinding is included; deep cracks, oil stains, or removing old failed coatings can add prep time and cost.

03

Topcoat Tier

Standard polyaspartic is excellent. Upgraded topcoats add UV stability for exposed/sun-lit floors and longer warranties.

04

Color & Customization

Most color blends are included. Multi-color custom mixes, borders, or logos can be added on request.

FAQ

Flake Floors questions.

Yes — that's the entire point. We grind off the top layer to open up the pores, repair any spalling or cracks, then install over the existing slab. No tear-out, no concrete replacement.
The flake texture is naturally slip-resistant when dry and stays grippy even when wet. For shop floors or covered patios, we can add an anti-slip aggregate to the topcoat for extra traction.
Walk on it in 6–8 hours, drive on it in 24 hours, full hot-tire and chemical cure in 72 hours. The polyaspartic topcoat is the key — epoxy-only systems take a week or more.
Yes — we need full access to the slab for grinding, primer, broadcast, and topcoat. Most homeowners use install day to purge old stuff anyway, and we coordinate timing so you're back in fast.
Pricing depends on square footage, prep needs (cracks, oil stains, old failed coatings), and topcoat tier. A free estimate gets you a real number — we don't quote per-foot averages because every garage is different.
